Green Square - Town Centre Sydney

The City of Sydney will deliver public plazas and green, open spaces for the Town Centre. A mix of outdoor spaces and parks will help to build a true sense of community – with plenty of different types of spaces for residents, visitors and workers to enjoy.

These include:

• European-style piazzas

• Landscaped streets

• Al fresco dining

• Markets and street festivals

• Public art, street furniture and site signage to reflect a local identity and unique character

• Cycle and walk ways to encourage movement, interaction and street level activity

• A green corridor through the site, providing abundant recreational spaces for residents, right at their doorstep

• Promoting a day and night vitality with provision for business and retail, creative and cultural spaces.
